End of race season skittles: reminder 1 of 2

on .

Hi all,

As was mentioned in an earlier post - we plan to have a club social on Saturday 27th October, 7pm, at The Halfway pub on Cathedral Road. The skittles hall is booked for us until midnight.

We just want to make clear this social is open to ALL members of Cardiff Tri. For those of you new to the club and contemplating a game of skittles - just do it! This is a perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow club members and start booking those IRONMAN Wales entries after several confident beers. In addition, if you have a friend or partner you'd like to bring along then please feel free - we may just convince them to join the club.

I have put a small reminder post on Facebook as the Manager at The Halfway wants to get a feel for numbers and food. Please make me aware of your attendance. I will also sort out a couple of big bowls of chips/crisps and other savory goods, however, there will likely be a small charge for this - £1-3 max.

As is tradition - Christmas party theme will be decided and a game of murder ball to finish.

Another reminder will be posted on the week of the event.

Kind regards,

Adam

Hi all,

For those doing the Cardiff Half now on the 14th October - fancy meeting up post race for a coffee and sandwich in town afterwards - shall we say The New York Deli for 11:00-11:15am? Gives allowances for those thinking of a two hour finish.
