Don't forget to send the webmaster your favourite photos, either of yourself or others in the club. With those I'll build some new images to randomly load in the sidebars of cardifftri.net.

The results from today's Cosmestion Sprint Triathlon are up on the results page (or here).
Taste adventure by taking part in a novel multi-sport event coming to Cardiff Bay this October.
Make the best of your summer fitness by squeezing in this one last event before the clocks go back.
Cardiff Burn is on October 24 in Cardiff Bay at 10am. It will involve 10 km running, 35 km cycling and 3km kayaking.
The race begins as a group start around the famous Cardiff Barrage. Transitioning in Cardiff Bay to bikes, competitors will soon find themselves with a wonderful view of Cardiff from the top of Caerphilly mountain. Back in the Bay competitors will negotiate a course of buoys on double sit-on-top kayaks.
It’s about having fun with friends, trying something new, improving skill and testing your limits.
Cardiff Burn is the brainchild of Vale of Glamorgan’s international adventure racing athlete, Maria Leijerstam, director of Multisport Wales. More details and entry on line at www.multisportwales.co.uk
"Just over 4 weeks to go, and 17 days until entries close, with less than 100 places remaining. See below - the duathlon sold out and we expect the triathlon to do so too, so please pass on to any of your members who you think were planning on entering but haven't got around to it! We cannot go over 250 entries and will not be extending the closing date beyond 19th June.
"The event consists of a 1,500m sea swim, 43k testing bike course, and a 10k run which incorporates 3k on the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path and a dramatic beach finish. With a pasta menu on the Friday night, technical t-shirt for all finishers, excellent category and spot prizes, Welsh cakes at the finish, and Saturday evening entertainment, the 250 places look sure to fill quickly.
"I have lost a spoke in my rear wheel and unfortunately it appears the national supplier cannot source the correct spoke for 2 weeks. I am hoping to take part in the Cosmeston event on Sunday 13th June. Thanks, Dan (
)."
I guess a spare back wheel would help too. What do you need, 10 speed Shimano?
The swim session on Sunday 6 June 2010 will be in the morning, commencing at 10.30. The next few weeks (13, 20, 27 June) will then be in the evening, commencing at 18.30.
The new tri kit arrived today!!!!! I will be bringing it along to running tonight and swimming tomorrow. If you have yet to pay then please bring along the money or a cheque as kit will only be distributed when you have paid in full.
To clarify the situation regarding marshalls the Club has carried out a Health and Safety Risk Assessment in order for the event to be sanctioned by British Traiathlon. This provides the Club, and individuals organizing the event, Public Indemity in case something should go wrong. If an incident should occur we would have to provide proof that we were marshalling the event as per the Health and Safety Assessment.
If we don't get enough club members or volunteers helping to marshal the event then I will have no hesitiation in withdrawing racing club members from competing and expecting them to marshal in order to make up the correct number of marshalls. The first I shall ask will be those who can't provide cover followed by those who have.
I fully expect this year to be the same as any other year and have enough people turn up to help on the day but it does seem to be getting harder and I extend my ever grateful thanks to those who regularly turn out for the Club. Andy Mac, Race Director
