Swansea Masters Swimming (New)

Written by Sam Webster on .

A new Masters swim training group is starting in Swansea next week. Swim sessions will be on 5 evenings per week in either the Swansea National Pool or the Bishop Gore School.

The first Masters session will be on 20th May from 8-9 pm at Bishop Gore School and there will be 5 sessions a week available thereafter. Swimmers are not expected to attend every session!

The club will be generally under the umbrella of Swim Wales and Swim Swansea and will be coached by Jak Mullins (who coaches with Swim Swansea) and Andy Scutt (used to coach Masters at City of Sheffield).

They are particularly keen to get people from as wide a background as possible and even more keen to get a few more "mature" people involved.

Andy Scutt has had success in the past training triathletes in Sheffield. In general it would be good for triathletes who are a bit better than average at swimming and need a bit more of a challenge.

If anyone would like to discuss it further you can email the Cardiff Tri webmaster.
