The deadline for letting us know if you want to take part in the National Club Relay Champs in Nottingham on 21st August is THIS SUNDAY (14th March)! So far, I have not had a deposit (£10) from anyone...

Llanelli Waterside Duathlon and Triathlon |

The Llanelli Waterside Duathlon takes place at the North Dock Llanelli on March 21st. The event starts outside the Discovery Center and the first run is a two lap 5Km run along the Millennium Coastal Path. The 17 mile bike ride takes cyclists down to Kidwelly and then the 2nd 5Km run is a repeat of the first leg. The Llanelli Waterside Triathlon is an ideal event for 1st time and experienced traithletes. The event takes place at the North Dock in Llanelli with the swim taking place in the safe haven of the North Dock itself. This is a 500m swim, followed by a 17mile bike ride down to Kidwelly and a 5Km run along the Millennium Coatal Path. Both events are ideal for the 1st timer and we welcome relay teams for both the Duathlon and Triathlon. We will allow two athletes for Duathlon as relay 1 runner and 1 cyclist. There will be trophies for all categories including Youth and Junior. |

Entries are now being accepted for Tuska Sprint Triathlon on Sunday 25 July 2009. As well as the Welsh Sprint Championhips, it is our Club Championship Race for 2010.

Since the Summer the Club has been offering a core fitness
session, each Thursday evening, at the Channel View Leisure Centre. The session
is for one hour commencing at 19.00, so you can also attend the swim session,
later in the evening.

Sunday Swim Sessions in March |

In March, the Sunday swim will revert to an evening session, commencing
at 18.30. So Sunday 7th, 14th and 21st March will all be in the
evening.
The reason for the change is that there are various events on at the pool in the day. |

Tonight is Chris Corcoran's committee meeting- St David's day agenda. The show kicks off at 8pm so the plan is to meet at Alfred's bar and grill (CF37 2ST) which is very close to the Muni arts centre (CF37 2BP) in Pontypridd from 7pm.
I have all the tickets, so if you can't make it to Alfred's by 7.30-40ish then give me a call to arrnage collecting your tickets.
